"Aim, fire and fab photos."
My camera is my constant companion on any outing and I love to take photographs of anything and everything to keep as a record of the places we have been to and the things that we have done as a family.
Pros:
- Can be used in auto mode by novices
- Lots of manual adjustments for the more experienced
Cons:
- None for me

Cannon - why buy anything else !
I use this camera to take various types of photos but mainly of flora & fauna while hiking, it takes great pictures of flora for identification purposes, clear, crisp, high quality pictures at a decent size (3-4mb on auto), being 10 mega pixels the photo quality is excellent for its size, also

I've had this camera since September 2010 and it was a last minute purchase from our local supermarket in Cyprus as we were flying to Egypt the same afternoon only to discover our original camera was broken! We paid a little less than €100 (EURO) for it and have been pleasantly surprised by it.
Pros:
- I love the size and ease of use
- Very simple to take decent photos, the zoom woks perfectly well (enough to take a photo from our hotel room across to the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt of the hot air balloons taking off early in the morning)
Cons:
- The manual had no English (we're in Cyprus) neither any Greek but I did download one from the internet
- I find the functions not so simple to remember and so haven't really made full use of them as I don't have my pc with me when I want to fiddle with the controls

Only compact camera with optical viewfinder
The great thing about this camera is the separate optical viewfinder which I use on bright days when the LCD screen is hard to see. Most compact cameras don't have this feature. Otherwise it is a standard compact digital camera, takes great pictures and is easy to carry around.

A really great compact if you ask me. *One thing, the specs said, 1.4 fps on continuous mode, but here's a trick, you can haste it up by choosing ISO3200 mode, it can shoot up to 3fps.* It is also great at landscapers, though a wider focal length is better.

This is a camera that fulfills my need for a small pocketable camera - and I mean shirt pocket or jeans - that takes good images, has quick performance, and is built to last. Let me tell you this camera is tiny and light weight.
Pros:
- The most important thing besides the ability to carry this camera everywhere was that it took images that passed my critical requirements for low noise, vibrant colors, clean and sharpness details
- The SD1200 delivered on all of these criteria.
Cons:
- The power button, as well as almost all the buttons except the shutter, are flushed against the camera
- This means it takes both small fingers with some dexterity to push
- Those with larger hands would find it quite difficult to hold and operate this camera.

Canon Digital Ixus 95 IS
Canon's Ixus models have spent more time at the top of our A List than any other brand. And despite a wobble last year when they were knocked off by Sony, the Ixus 95 sees Canon regain its crown.
