Canon Powershot ELPH SD3500
Canon's PowerShot SD3500 IS is sort of a follow-up to 2009's SD980 IS in that it has a touch-screen LCD and features the same ultrawide-angle 24mm-equivalent lens with a 5x zoom.- Nice design
- large touch-screen LCD
- Eye-Fi memory card support
- Slow shooting performance
Canon Digital Ixus 210: A touch screen canon compact - the Ixus 210
Quick specification list: - 24mm wide lens and 5x optical zoom - 3.5" LCD - SD card slot - lithium ion battery Like virtually all cameras of this generation, the ixus 210 has no viewfinder (if this is something you want - have a look at the ixus 100, but be warned that they won't be around for much...
Easy to use
I keep it in my purse to use on a moments notice. Good flash in low light and good battery life. Just what I was looking for. Easy to use touch screen.
Canon IXUS 210 review Review
The 14.1-megapixel IXUS 210 offers a sophisticated design and a bevy of 'smart' technologies that mean you can concentrate on taking snaps instead of constantly reading the manual.- 5x extra-wide-angle zoom range
- Large
- high-quality display
- Good touchscreen interface
- Poor lens performance
- Mushy detail rendition
- No zooming in 720p movie mode
Canon Ixus 210
UPDATE 07/07/2011: In line with our new, tighter test criteria, the Canon Ixus 210 is now a three-star camera rather than a four-star camera. Its relatively average responsiveness and picture quality are even less impressive compared with...- High-quality
- multi-purpose 24-120 mm lens
- Optical stabilisation works well
- Pleasant touchscreen interface and high-quality LCD
- Good overall image quality
- Autofocus a bit slow in low light
- Still no exposure histogram when shooting
- Macro mode to 5 cm and slow burst mode
- Disappointing video mode: no zoom
- mono sound
- quality not great
Canon IXUS 210
The Canon IXUS brand has been with us since 1996 and has long been associated with super-compact and beautifully designed cameras. Whatever else this Ixus 210 offers, we can't help feel it's lacking the cool industrial design of previous models; nor is it particularly compact.
Canon Digital Ixus 210: A touch screen canon compact - the Ixus 210
Not worth the money - I don't think touch screen cameras will 'catch on'- large screen
- looks nice
- decent image quality in most situations
- good noise at high ISO's
- touch screen is irritating
- options are all menu based - not quick
- flash noisy
- expensive

Canon Digital Ixus 210, has enormous touchscreen but what about picture quality?
Whether you think a gold-coloured camera is the height of sophistication or the depths of bogan is a matter of opinion. Fortunately, the Ixus 210 comes in a range of other colours, and the enormous 3.5in touchscreen is positively luxurious. We've seen more successful touchscreen interfaces, though.
Poor image quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend- Easy To Use
- Small / Compact
- Lag / Shutter Delay
- Poor Image Quality
