" The Canon Powershot SD3500 IS is loaded with features. "
This is my first digital camera. It's challenging to learn about all the great features packed into this small camera. I haven't done very much photography over the years so when I decided to get into it more, I figured this would be a good one to start with. I'm glad they included a CD which

Canon IXUS 210 IS Touch – Review
Ashley Kramer gets touchy-feely with Canon's new Ixus Touchscreens are obviously where the world is headed. Apple has made the touchscreen a critical presence on entertainment devices and, like it or not, the ubiquitous feature is coming to a camera near you.
Pros:
- 24mm wide-angle lens
- Touchscreen operation
- First-rate image quality
Cons:
- Average low-light performance

Canon IXUS 210 review
However, I was a little dubious when Canon announced that the 14.1-million-pixel IXUS 210 was going to have no control buttons, and rely instead on a 3.5in touchscreen. In fact, the IXUS 210 has just three buttons and a single switch, all of which are positioned on the camera's top-plate.

[REVIEW-CANON IXUS 210 touch]
This 14 megapixel camera has a 24–120mm (film equivalent) image stabilised zoom lens. Its distinctive feature is that it uses a touch screen for most camera controls. There are small buttons for power, review and still or movie modes and a zoom control around the shutter button.
Pros:
- The image quality is excellent with good resolution and preservation of detail
- Against our comparison compact the Canon stands out for better pictures in every way
- Even noise doesn't seem to be a problem, in spite of the high pixel count
- Macro mode is exceptionally good.
Cons:
- The touch screen implementation, by comparison with the Samsung and Panasonic variants, is kludgy, slow and not at all intuitive
- It feels and looks primitive
- This is one area where Canon needs to get a Mark 2 out quickly to match the competition

U Should Buy
I bought this camera for my upcoming trip to China. I think I'll have a lot of fun taking picture with it. I bought the pink one; the camera is gorgeous! It takes great pictures too!

Canon IXUS 210 IS
The IXUS 210 is a perfectly good compact camera, with the added bonus of having a touchscreen. But, it doesn't do anything new or exciting that we haven't seen before.
Pros:
- Large 3.5-inch touchscreen
- Nicely designed interface
- Lots of playback options
Cons:
- Performance can be a little slow
- Blows out highlights

Canon Powershot ELPH SD3500
Canon's PowerShot SD3500 IS is sort of a follow-up to 2009's SD980 IS in that it has a touch-screen LCD and features the same ultrawide-angle 24mm-equivalent lens with a 5x zoom.
Pros:
- Nice design
- large touch-screen LCD
- Eye-Fi memory card support
Cons:
- Slow shooting performance
