Canon EOS M6
Canon have produced a highly functional camera in the new EOS M6. This entry level camera will take amazing pictures despite its non-extravagant look. It’s small, light (weighing in at a mere 390g) and is perfect for traveling, hiking and other slow-paced adventure sports. Here are some specifications to help you decide whether this is the camera for you.
The first feature worth mentioning is the 24.2MP function this camera delivers. The camera may not be the most glamorous, but the image quality is hard to beat for such an entry level device. The Canon EOS M6 also has a video recording capability, and your videos will reach up to 60p in full HD (7 frames per second).
To further assist the quality of your photos, anti-shaking software has been installed courtesy of 5-Axis Digital IS. You’ll also be happy to learn that Dual Pixel CMOS AF also forms part of your camera to ensure quick response on photos, and smooth recording for videos. Finally, there is also a built-in low-pass filter which will help you do some basic editing before you even move images to another device!
This camera also boasts WiFi & Bluetooth functions for easy sharing of your images. If you’re part of a community of photographers who come together to share, then this camera will serve you well in building photographer relationships.

Canon EOS M6 Mirrorless Camera Review
I must say that like many cameras these days the Canon M6 is perhaps overloaded with options and at first blush some potential users will be overwhelmed and even put off by the maxed out features, especially when bravely plowing through the online instruction manual.
Despite Canon's continued dominance of the DSLR market, as well as a strong performance in the premium compact sector, its CSC range has had a relatively unremarkable start, with only four UK models released over a five-year period.
^ Compatible with select smartphone and tablet devices (Android™ version 5.0 or later and the following iOS® devices: iPhone 4s or later, iPad 3rd gen. or later, iPod Touch 5th gen. or later) equipped with Bluetooth® version 4.0 or later and the Camera Connect App Ver. 2.0.20.
Very disappointed - poor quality, slow focus
I purchased this camera in November 2017, hoping for a dSLR quality camera in a smaller, lighter weight package. It is smaller and somewhat lighter, but much poorer quality than a regular dSLR.
Love Manual Focus
I mainly shoot with Canon DSLRs, also own another brand mirrorless camera and was curious about what progress Canon was making in the mirrorless product space so on an impulse I bought the M6.
Awesome camera! Perfect in so many ways.
I absolutely love this camera. It really is perfect in so many ways. The image quality is amazing, the size and weight are exactly what I need, and the camera can be customized in many ways.

Canon EOS M6 Review
Canon's mirrorless cameras are getting better, but the EOS M6 still can't quite measure up to some competitors. We called the EOS M5 the best mirrorless camera that Canon had made yet when we reviewed it earlier this year. The M6 ($779, body only) is, from a technical perspective, the same camera as the M5, minus the integrated viewfinder. It's a bit smaller all around and $200 less expensive, which makes it a bit more appealing for casual photographers who prefer to use the rear LCD to frame up shots. The M5 and M6 represent a big move forward for Canon in the mirrorless space, but there's still some room for improvement, especially with autofocus in dim conditions. Our favorite entry-level mirrorless camera is still the Sony a6000—it's compact, has a built-in EVF, and it costs less. Design The EOS M6 ($679.00 at Amazon) measures 2.7 by 4.4 by 1.8 inches (HWD) and weighs 13.8 ounces without a lens attached. It's smaller than the M5, which measures 3.5 by 4.6 by 2.4 inches and 15.1 ounces. We received the camera in black for review, although I'd say the top plate is closer to a metallic gra...- 24MP image sensor
