Nice little camera which I use quite often. :-) Bad lowlight performance, and limited dynamic range not sooo much better than Sigma Foveon Cameras. ISO200 is visibly worse than ISO100, and ISO1600 just that noisy You rather won't use this setting, if not nessecary. Best was the price!

"Both for beginner and intermediate"

Preview Canon EOS M Hi all, I'm derama, Indonesian citizen, lives in Jakarta (the state capital). I have a camera shop in a mall premium in this city, for that, let me to share experiences on Canon EOS M.

Look quite attractive, with a simple design; High resolution touch screen makes it easy for ca

Choice of the lens is not much; Battery somewhat wasteful

Beat Camera By Canon And I Love It. Must Buy.

I bought it not because I really needed it. It was on sale and I did some quick test once I received it. Being a user of the previous canon 5d mark II and III, 7d and 60d, I have to say that this little gadget redefines Canon's product line. The touch screen is superb.

Canon EOS M review by msantosm

I must clarify I have only given 9pts in overall/construction because I think they could have included wi-fi (which they did on the M2) but honestly it is one of the best cameras I had. For $369 I got the camera with a EFM 18-55 STM IS (a good) lens and the flash (nothing too special).

Excellent quality pictures in a 1/4 size of a normal SLR; compatible with EF lenses (w/adapter

For me just not having a electonic viewfinder (complimentary) and the neck strip that drives me crazy; The lack of dedicated EF-M lenses (primes and big tele) for those who don?′t want to use the adapter could also be one

Perfect fit to replace lost cap.

If it isn't actually a canon lens cap, I can't tell the difference. It is indistinguishable from my other caps directly from canon.

Considering this is Canon's first CSC, the EOS M is an impressive camera in many ways, and not least in terms of image quality thanks to sharing its sensor and processor with the EOS 650D. The camera body is extremely compact, which is good if you want a camera that's small and lightweight.

Perhaps they considered this category as a no-go, but seeing the success of all these various brands they've finally come out with the EOS M. Are they too late, though? Will it really manage to impress? To find out, we tested out the li'l guy.

A good little camera that doesn't get much love.

First off, this camera is capable of taking some GREAT pictures. After all, this is a cut-down mirrorless version of the Canon Rebel T4i. It has the same large APS-C image sensor and DIGIC processing as the T4i. However, getting those great pictures often requires some effort.

Viewfinders

" I have tested this camera and similar cameras from another sales firm. The cameras fail in one all important aspect, they lack a viewfinder. Please Q.V.C find and add to your store compact cameras with both viewfinder and zoom lens. Thank You.

We do not know whether it has been spurred by the competition or sheer market demand, but Canon has now plunged into the mirrorless DSLR camera segment. And their first salvo in this category is the EOS M, a sleek camera that frankly is a bit expensive but does deliver crisp shots.
