There's a lot to love about the Canon EOS 800D camera, ticking almost all of the boxes, even for a mid-range device. The improvements over the 700D are quite significant and will make for an easy choice for first-time buyers.
At 6 frames per second, the Canon EOS 800D is one of the nicest cameras to own. You’ll find that this small little camera packs a lot of great features behind its lens. So, let’s see what some of them are and how you can leverage the most out of yours.
Your photos will look magnificent thanks to the Canon EOS 800D’s 24.2MP sensor. The great aspect about this is that even photographs taken at moderately high speed, will still be captured as if they were professionally taken. We’re talking about a 0.03 second focus speed when utilising the very-angle screen (the fastest in the world). Imagine the quality of your shots!
The very-angle screen also has other functions that allow you to take shots from various angles & perspectives. The camera comes with all the lenses you would need as fundamental tools of your trade. So, if you’re the kind of photographer who wants a camera that reacts as quickly as you do, then this is definitely a camera you’ll love.
There’s also a movie making feature on the Canon EOS 800D. Record high quality videos and share them via your camera’s Bluetooth or WiFi functions. You won’t find much to criticise on this camera. It’s easy to use, has loads of great features, and keep your photography career or hobby up to date for years to come.

Great Value at a great price
by Jaron Schneider | 05/09/2018 Though not a huge technological jump from its predecessor nor its competitors, the Rebel T7i continues Canon's tradition of producing reliable, easy-to-use, consumer-friendly and affordable DSLRs for the masses.
Very good image quality; Improved dynamic range & high ISO quality over T6i; 45-point AF system; Fast Dual Pixel CMOS AF; Improved buffer depth, Improved dynamic range over its predecessor, Slightly improved high ISO performance, Supports Fine Detail Picture Style for better JPEG sharpening than...
Default JPEGs slightly soft straight out of camera; Dynamic range & high ISO still lags behind competitors; No 4K video, Dynamic range and high ISO performance still not as good as competitors, Default JPEGs a bit soft, Small and inaccurate pentamirror viewfinder, Mediocre battery life for a DSLR...
I bought this for my fiance who is looking to get into amateur photography. She absolutely loves it. Camera is very clear and intuitive for beginners. The beginner kit lens it comes with is good enough to learn with.
Had purchased the Rebel Sl2, great camera, however, I have large hands and had a hard time holding the camera, I also had too many missed shots and a few buffer full moments. This camera is much easier to hold, the dials and buttons are nicer, and so far, no focus issues, no buffer full.
I've been using this gear for a couple of months now and it's really an amazing product by Canon. When it comes to shooting HD videos, it just does an awesome job. And if you are looking for clicking vibrant and super amazing images.
I choose this package because of the 75-300 lens. This lens is a Canon lens. I also wanted the wide angle lens and the 2x telephoto lens. These are not Canon, but appear to be good quality. The package arrived in good condition several days before the estimated delivery day.
Easy to use and takes great photos!
I was a bit anxious after I clicked the purchase button, given that I wasn't buying from Amazon direct, however the camera arrived on time and at a great price.
The Canon EOS 800D is the latest in a line of SLRs that has scored consistently well in our reviews in recent years. The EOS 750D didn't excel in any particular area but a generous set of features, a sensible price and a consistently high quality added up to a camera that was perfect for home users...
Sophisticated autofocus; especially for video and live view; Fast performance across the board
Automatic exposure settings could be smarter; Beaten by Nikon for noise levels; No 4K video
