Does the 7D beat full frame cameras?
No, but it's so good that one starts to contemplate this question, which was never the case before the 7D was introduced. Both systems, crop and full frame, have their pros and cons and place in photography.

I purchased the 5D MarkII a little while ago, and just picked up this 7D for a great back up camera, and I am completely impressed with it so far. I mainly use my 5D MKII for video, and have it hooked up to a shoulder rig full time, so its nice to have this bad boy in my camera bag for those photo...

We could go on forever about the Canon EOS 7D's features and versatility, but suffice to say: if you're looking for a top class all-round performer and aren't too concerned with going full-frame, this is currently the best body around.
Pros:
- As soon as you pick it up, it's clear that the Canon EOS 7D means business
- It's big, heavy, sturdy and packed with dials and buttons, For the well-versed in DSLR photography, the Canon EOS 7D is a dream to use.
Cons:
- It's certainly not a camera for the DSLR beginner, as the amount of manual options on offer will only serve to confuse
- There is a fully auto mode, naturally, but why spend £1,250 on a DSLR and treat it like a point and shoot, We'd also have like to have seen a full frame option, especially at this...

Canon EOS 7D review
So you've had your affordable DSLR camera a while now, and are looking to upgrade. You want to be able to shoot stills at machine-gun speed, not to mention silk-smooth high-definition video.

The 7D is one of those things you'll buy and never ever regret, I was genuine about buying and the staff gave me an awesome deal (better than everyone) I'm so happy with it all I strongly recommend the replacement warranty, it a peace of mind.

8fps pictures, 1080p HD video and interchangeable lenses make great features. Magnesium alloy casing is weatherproof and heavy, so it feels safe in your hand. Bad Points: The menus are a bit fiddly, this is the first time in a very long while I have read a manual!
Pros:
- 18 MP sensor gives fantastic quality to your pictures
- easy to blow up on posters and canvas
