We could go on forever about the Canon EOS 7D's features and versatility, but suffice to say: if you're looking for a top class all-round performer and aren't too concerned with going full-frame, this is currently the best body around.

As soon as you pick it up, it's clear that the Canon EOS 7D means business; It's big, heavy, sturdy and packed with dials and buttons, For the well-versed in DSLR photography, the Canon EOS 7D is a dream to use.

It's certainly not a camera for the DSLR beginner, as the amount of manual options on offer will only serve to confuse; There is a fully auto mode, naturally, but why spend £1,250 on a DSLR and treat it like a point and shoot, We'd also have like to have seen a full frame option, especially at this...

Does the 7D beat full frame cameras?

No, but it's so good that one starts to contemplate this question, which was never the case before the 7D was introduced. Both systems, crop and full frame, have their pros and cons and place in photography.

Full featured pro-sumer camera

I have been using my 1D Mark II N since getting it having graduated from my Canon 20D. I wanted the 8.5 fps and the full features of the 1D series and was amazed at the quality of pictures it produced, even at only 8mp. The 7D has many of the features of my 1D and then some...

Very easy to set up if you have worked with Canon D series cameras before

Shows flaws in all but the best glass

7D meets my expectations

I have not had the chance to use the 7D other than a few dozen family pictures in room light. I did use the camera's flash as a driver with another flash as a slave. Pictures came out great with bright colors and very sharp. The response of the camera is very quick and the AF grouping is great.

Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Fast Shutter Speed; Good Image Quality; High ISO Performance; Large Clear LCD; Quiet

None; Too early to tell

My Prized Possession

The Canon 7D is an AMAZING camera! I use the 7D for lots of different things. Mostly, I use the camera for special moments in my life and wildlife photography. I chose the 7D over any other camera because it is easy to use, reasonably priced and delivers smashing photographs.

Easy To Use; Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Fast Shutter Speed; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization; High ISO Performance; Large Clear LCD; Pop Up Flash; Quiet

quality for what should be years to come.

I absolutely love my camera so far. I was willing to get a heavier camera in exchange for tons of features. This is a heavy camera, but that is what i expected and wanted. Canon makes other similar cameras (same sensor, other identical components) but i decided on the 7d for because it doesn't feel...

Canon 7D

I have a 7D and really love it. It is a sturdy entry level camera for serious photo enthusiasts. So glad QVC has stepped up their Canon line of cameras and "luxury lens.

Canon EOS 7D review

With the EOS 7D, Canon is pulling out all the stops to appeal to keen amateur and semi-pro photographers. In a nutshell – or rather, a tough magnesium alloy shell – the 7D offers an 18.1-megapixel sensor, speedy 8fps performance, 19-point autofocus and full HD video recording.

Canon 7D Camera - A Step Above the Rest

I had had several year experience with an entry level DSLR before I bought the Canon 7D. I like trying new things with cameras and I had got as far as I could with my old camera. I have now had my 7D for 2 years and have still not gone through all of what it is capable.

Easy to use and set up; Lots of features to help make your photographic experience rewarding

Performance at high ISO settings can be disappointing at times
