Canon EOS 77D
A couple of years ago, Canon added two similar models to its EOS line-up in the form of the EOS 750D and EOS 760D . At the time, we questioned the manufacturer's rationale behind creating two cameras with near-identical specifications.
Pros:
- Comprehensive set of features
- Spritely autofocus in and out of live view
- Guided interface to aid DSLR newbies
- Effective in-body electronic stabilisation for movies
Cons:
- No weather sealing
- In-camera JPEG processing suppresses detail
- More expensive than competition

Canon EOS 77D Review
Along with the EOS M6 and T7i/800D, the 77D was introduced by Canon earlier this year. Like the 800D , it's packed with a 24.2 Megapixel CMOS Sensor and the new DIGIC 7 image processor. For the body alone, this DSLR will set you back a little under Php50k.
Pros:
- Lightweight and compact
- Solid build quality
- Touch screen
- Fast autofocus
- Good image stabilization
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity
- Improved sensor and image processor
- Clean and detailed images
- Generous amount of dials and buttons
Cons:
- Too much saturation
- using the standard picture profile
- Choice of using the LP-E17 battery pack
- Video mode incorporated into the power switch
- No 4k video recording
- Not weather sealed

Canon EOS 77D Review
The Canon EOS 77D is Canon's update to the 760D . The camera features a new 24mp APS-C CMOS sensor, ISO25600 that extends to ISO51200, 6fps continuous shooting, full HD 60fps video recording, along with built-in Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth. There's a top LCD screen and two control dials.

Canon EOS 77D Review
The 77D is a Rebel T7i in fancy clothes, but that might be enough for the right user.
Pros:
- Fair amount of direct access control
- Great 45-point AF system
- Dual Pixel Autofocus in live-view
- Good image quality
- Nice handgrip
Cons:
- Small viewfinder
- Low capacity battery
- 1080p video is showing its age
