I absolutely love my 77d camera. I've been wanting to invest in a more quality camera for when I take mission trips with my church! The video/photo quality is great! But definitely invest in some good lenses!

The pre set scenes are very good low light and night time hand held would be difficult to achieve for a novice without this feature

I bought this as a replacement for a 10 year old 40D and was a bit disappointed with it to be honest because the image quality wasn't any better and it lost some of the ability of the 40D.

As the basis for my comments, I've had a number of earlier generation Canon crop sensor DSLRs (most recently the SL1), a Canon 6D full frame, and earlier used Nikons. I switched from Nikon to Canon for the greater lens options. I've also recently purchased a Fuji X-E3.

Absolutely love this camera and the easy pay is AWESOME!!! Negative: It features a cord in the picture but it does not come with the cord... Bummer!!! But the camera rock, lenses rocks and fully Bluetooth and WiFi.

Great camera that is as good as advertised. Received in double boxed secure packaging before Christmas as advertised. Crutchfield's knowledgeable technical service also assisted with technical help setting up the camera (you won't get that thru the Big Box Stores).

A little complicated for beginner or novice

This was purchased to replace a Canon EOS 60D stolen in a burglary. I wanted my daughter to have something better than that which was taken. This camera is superb. Fantastic particularly for portraiture. Comes with no lenses. Obviously an added expense but you will know that when you purchase.

Went from an EOS 450d to this, a big difference in image quality, smooth with the swivel screen that has good sharpness and color rendering. The Wi-Fi features do not work any further, much layers. Too bad it's not weatherproof and the battery life could have been longer. Also missing audio output.
