I am a keen photographer and wanted to upgrade my equipment. I purchased the 77D as I recommended to me by many professionals and friends in the industry. This camera is fantastic, takes brilliant photos and has a great autofocus.

Went from an EOS 450d to this, a big difference in image quality, smooth with the swivel screen that has good sharpness and color rendering. The Wi-Fi features do not work any further, much layers. Too bad it's not weatherproof and the battery life could have been longer. Also missing audio output.

I've won awards with this camera. 1 for a visual marketing campaign contest 2 made it in the top 25 list for local businesses in my area. I've beat people with full frame cameras , which proves that it's about how well you understand the science and art making it your skill.

Iam a hobby photographer that had pushed way past the limits of my old Rebel XS. I was looking to stay with a crop body but get something with some pro features that wouldnat break the bank. Within my budget was the 77D, 80D and Rebel 7ti.
