Canon Rebel T5i Review

We'll see when mine arrives, but for now, it looks like a bargain price for a newer version of last year's T4i . If you've found all the time, effort and expense I put into researching and sharing all this, this free website's biggest source of support is when you use any of these links , especially...

Canon EOS 700D review

The Canon EOS 700D isn't a major step up from the 650D, but it's definitely a very good camera. It's capable of capturing high quality images, it's relatively easy to use and it doesn't feel heavy in the hand, especially with the 18-55mm STM kit lens attached.

Canon EOS 700D review and sample images

If you're looking for a simple digital SLR camera, perhaps even your first digital SLR camera, Canon's EOS 700D is ideal. It comes in a relatively small size, it has an easy control scheme, and it will allow you to take impressive photos from the get-go.

Relatively light and compact; Great overall image quality; Good overall speed

Changing exposure can be a little cumbersome; No clear differentiators between the 650D and 700D

Canon EOS 700D Digital SLR Review

The Canon EOS 700D, like the 650D before it, is an excellent Digital SLR capable of producing excellent images, with good exposure, multiple options, including HDR, handheld night shot, 5fps continuous shooting, DIGIC 5 processor, and the Q. menu lets you change settings and options quickly.

Excellent noise performance up to ISO3200; Live view allows 5x and 10x magnification; Excellent image quality; Excellent colour reproduction; Excellent touch screen; Solid body with good handling; Playback image star ratings; Q.

18-55mm IS STM lens larger than previous model; Live view still slow with STM lens; The lens aberration correction feature slows continuous shooting

Nothing new

It's ok, I wasn't impressed because it was the same old Canon camera. They just aren't very innovative. So much better out ther for less.

Canon EOS 700D / Rebel T5i Review

The Canon EOS 700D – or Canon Rebel T5i as it's known in some territories – is Canon's latest DSLR. Find out how it fares in the What Digital Camera Canon EOS 700D full review

Responsive and well-implemented touchscreen; Light body; Fast AF system; Effective Auto Lighting Optimizer; Noise control; good video capture

Can feel a little plasticky in places; Not suited to action photography with limited AF points for tracking and a small buffer

[REVIEW-CANON EOS 700D]

: This 18mp DSLR is a small refinement of the 650D which pioneered a hybrid auto-focus system designed to give continuous tracking focus in video mode. The system has been improved with a new kit lens (29–88mm full frame equivalent) with stepping motor for faster focus.

Canon EOS Rebel T5i / 700D

I'm going to do a lot of "borrowing" in this review. And I'll start off by borrowing the opening line from both the Canon EOS Rebel T4i/650D DSLR review and the Canon EOS Rebel T3i/600D DSLR review :
