My first DSLR experience and deciding on my first lens
I purchased the T5i with the 18-135mm lens kit. I LOVE the camera, but wasn't completely satisfied with the lens for my purposes. If you are on a budget the kit lens is capable of giving you great close up and wide angle/zoomed out shots, and for most people I can see this being a good starter lens...
Pros:
- Sharp rotatable display
- Great touch screen brings ease of use
- Very good picture quality
- Full HD video with impressive quality
- Very solid camera construction
Cons:
- Autofocus speed in Live View
- Almost no innovation by the model change

Canon EOS 700D Review
Sitting at the top of Canon's consumer range of DSLR cameras, the EOS 700D is an upgrade to the EOS 650D. The notable improvements include sturdier build, redesigned mode dial, preview for creative filters and higher Live View refresh rate.

Canon EOS T5i review: This entry-level DSLR is particularly great for video
Adjustable swing-out display has touchscreen for easily navigating shooting options, even in sunlight. But the Live View focus, flash cycling, and general navigation feel sluggish by comparison.
Pros:
- Display swings out for capturing a variety of angles
- Great image quality
Cons:
- Live View focus seems sluggish
- Some physical controls are awkward to navigate

Nothing new
It's ok, I wasn't impressed because it was the same old Canon camera. They just aren't very innovative. So much better out ther for less.

Review: Canon EOS 700D
Canon seems to be on a DSLR launching spree, with two mid-range and one semi-pro cameras (the 70D). With reports of the 650D soon going off production, this segment will soon be spearheaded by the three touch-based entrants - the 650D, 100D and the 700D.
Pros:
- New-gen kit lens is great to work with
- Touchscreen is very responsive
- 360-degree tiltable screen
Cons:
- Lens takes time to focus in video mode
- Optimisation issues
- Not too much difference over its predecessor
- Expensive

Good body but lenses are CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP
I bought this camera package to take on a vacation to Mazatlan. Every time I brought the camera out of the air conditioned room out into the 85* weather, the lens would fog. Not just the external lens, but internal lenses and body-side lens also.
Pros:
- great body
Cons:
- crummy lenses

"Canon 700D, a reliable purchase"
First of all, I would say that I've got this camera since last year. And I think it is one of the best purchases I have ever done. I like filmmaking and this camera brought me plenty ways to enjoy my passion.
Pros:
- Quality/Price and Touch LCD Screen
Cons:
- I would say the battery lifetime

Great DLSR start-up!
My t5i is the perfect starting DLSR and the accessories they include rock! I was really surprised not only by the number of accessories, but the way the accessories work together is changing the way I use my camera.
