The Canon EOS 6D might sound like the dream ticket for full-frame DSLR aspirers. It's the first time that Canon's dipped its toe into the "budget" full-frame pond. But, to be realistic, its ￡1600 body-only asking price is still more the cash equivalent of a dive than a doggy-paddle.

- Full-frame image quality
- EOS Utility wireless shooting via computer has potential

Cons:
- Limited autofocus points
- central-arrangement of autofocus points
- just one SD card slot
- no rear joystick-like control
- no clean HDMI output
- Wi-Fi just isn't user friendly
- being forced to use Canon Image Gateway is irritating

Very very nice camera for the price. As far as mega pixels go it captures less details than other FF cameras such as the 5D III but with less MP comes the bonus of having less noise and slightly higher dynamic range with is just great.

Pros:
- Introduces vari-angle touchscreen for the first time on a full-frame EOS model
- Superior focusing speed in Live View mode thanks to Dual Pixel AF
- Offers 5-axis movie image stabilisation
- Excellent battery life
Cons:
- Lacks 4K video and headphone port for audio monitoring
- Upgraders can't use existing battery grip
- AF points all grouped together centrally in the frame
- Difficult to use exposure compensation with Auto ISO in manual mode
