The $2,000 price-point is a fascinating one for DSLRs and ILCs, with a bounty of excellent choices, whether it be Olympus' flagship OM-D E-M1 Mark II, Nikon's flagship APS-C-sensor D500, or this entry-level Full Frame EOS 6Dii.
Pros:
  • Affordable Full Frame performance
  • Access to a deep stable of exceptional Canon EF glass
  • Excellent color and contrast reproduction
  • Very Good ISO performance
  • Vari-angle & touchscreen useful for odd angles
  • More amenities than the previous generation
  • Versatile Auto Focus systems (optical & Live...
Cons:
  • Slower & less rugged than flagship mirrorless systems
  • Lacks 4K Video Recording
  • No in-body image stabilization

Awesome camera!

This camera is great! the image quality is what you would expect from a high end full frame camera. The bundle is okay but I've seen on other websites where the L series lens is offered as the kit lens but other than that it's awesome.

The Canon EOS 6D offers flawless image quality

Originally reviewed in 2013, we revisit the Canon EOS 6D to see if it's still worth it. Surprisingly the camera's price has risen slightly, where it can now be found for just over £1,510 on Amazon .

Very very nice camera for the price. As far as mega pixels go it captures less details than other FF cameras such as the 5D III but with less MP comes the bonus of having less noise and slightly higher dynamic range with is just great.

Canon EOS 6D review by kendigital

I bought a 6D Fall 2013 and have been on a shooting binge, gaining a good feel for the features and performance of this camera. I also own a 5D MK II and 60D so it's hard not to notice the 6D is a marriage of the two older cameras: full frame innards of the 5D MKII coupled with the petite form...
Pros:
  • easy on the shoulder
  • amazing image quality
Cons:
  • No FEC button
  • missing popup flash
