With 18-megapixel resolution, you will love the Canon EOS 600D + 18-55/3.5-5.6 IS + 55-250/4.0-5.6 IS. It is easy to use and comes with a lot of accessories and is perfect for taking vacation photos and much more. Plus it can enhance photos after they are taken.

The Canon EOS 600D has a DiG!C 4 Imaging Processor. It produces 14 bit images. This camera is perfect for shooting creative photos. If you are looking for a camera that offers high quality videos and photos, then you have found the right one.

Videos are more powerful than ever before. The Canon EOS 600 D delivers a resolution of 1920x1080. It can shoot 30 frames per second. It also has a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed port.

There is a new "Scene Intelligent Auto" mode. This mode helps analyze the area you are shooting. It even helps to improve the color. The camera now offers "Feature Guide", which provide directions for every function to help first time users get filming sooner. Using the Canon EOS 600D is easier than ever. There isn't much not to like about this camera.

Try out the "Video Snapshot" feature. This uses the concept that movies are unique when putting together many short takes as opposed to a long clip. One can record in short snippets and then play them back in order as a movie.

The thing that is still the same are its core features. It has a higher resolution and newer processor. The 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor is still there. Other features include the 9 point auto focus.

The Canon EOS 600D is a premium camera. It features a 500D screen that offers many outstanding features. One feature is Basic + that allows users to adjust images. The camera also offers multi-aspect ratio shooting. Other features include creative filters that can be used improve the images after shooting. This camera can do so many things. One might think that it is difficult to use. However, it comes with a "Feature Guide", which explains everything. With more power than ever before, the Canon EOS 600D has so much to offer.

Canon EOS 600D review

The EOS 600D is also beginner friendly but sits above the EOS 1100D in the Canon DSLR range, where it's arguably more of a direct threat to Nikon's equally new D5100. The asking price is £779 with 18-55mm IS zoom or £679 for body only.
Pros:
  • Compact, lightweight, easier to use than ever
  • angle-adjustable LCD and large resolution are a boon for those who want more from their photography
Cons:
  • Occasional clipped highlights
  • integral mic picks up adjustment noise

The flip out screen is fantastic. I actually use it way more than I thought I would. The HD Video is also brilliant. I shoot alot of live music and the sound quality without a mic is great, however if you want 'perfect' sound you can plug a mic into it.
Pros:
  • An absolutely fantastic camera
  • I'm a professional and use it for my professional work, and everything else

Canon EOS 600D

The 600D offers everything that the 550D does, and more. It's worth the additional $200, particularly if you're not ready for the more advanced 60D.

Canon EOS 600D review

We'd have liked it to feel fresher, but you can't argue with the 600D's features, price or performance

This is a great camera for starting dslr photos and videos. The camera is light which makes it more portable than larger cameras although it is not weather sealed and feels a bit too compact in your hand.
Pros:
  • Really easy to use
  • Great picture quality and the video is amazing
  • Crisp and clean handling and the colours and details are fantastic
Cons:
  • No have for bad

One of the most value for money DSLRs to come in a long time. To those who know what they are after in a DSLR, what they want out of a DSLR, this model has a lot to offer, and is a refreshing solution to their needs.
Pros:
  • Incomparable entry level DSLR
  • Nothing like it, The price offering is just unbelievable, Value for money, Comes with FREE wireless transmitter, Slightly larger ergonomics and shape than the sister 550D making it better to hold
Cons:
  • The focusing points on the viewfinder look like dirt spots
  • Really
  • There is this thin square line which is the AF sensor
  • then a dirt spot in the middle
  • All nine of them
  • Whoever conceived of using this dirt spot as a focusing point for Canon cameras should be fired by Canon
  • It is so annoying
  • it...

Amazing Camera, Not so good bundle

The bag was too small when I added the Zoom Lens and battery grip so I switched it with a bag I had gotten for my old Zeiss Ikon. Has HDMI output but they only give you Composite (YRW). Ordered on Black Friday and received it on Wednesday.
Pros:
  • The Camera is Amazing! 18MP with RAW and 1920 x 1080p HD video
  • Works with all EF or EF-S lenses
  • The kit comes with: EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Lens Extra Battery, Lens Pen, and 2 Filters Included RAW imaging software (it is limited but has all the aberration adjustments for all CANON EF/EF-S...
Cons:
  • The Tripod barely come to my chest and seems too light for this Camera
  • Especially when coupled with the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens and Battery Grip
  • - I got a taller and heavier duty one from "WallyWorld" The memory card is a 4Gb MicroSD with a SD adapter.

Perfect products and perfect service

Although I have a 5D Mark II and a 1DS Mark III, sometimes you need something smaller, lighter, and something easily available. Excellent quality, can use my other lenses and easy to grab for that quick grandchild shot all make this a great camera for me.
Pros:
  • Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
  • Good Image Quality
  • Good Image Stabilization
Cons:
  • Lag / Shutter Delay
  • Noisy At High ISO
  • Short Battery Life
