Canon EOS 600D
Overall the Canon EOS 600D scores above the average model; however, it's not without its flaws. Look past these, though, and you've got a great entry-level DSLR
Canon EOS 600D
The EOS 600D is a well sorted camera that's packed to the brim with features, is sensibly priced and easy-to-use.
Best of both worlds
Canon's EOS 600D further blurs the line between a beginner and professional DSLR. Although it has a smaller frame and lacks a second control dial and screen, it still packs a lot of features.- Good image and video quality
- handy 3in articulated screen
- fast autofocus with viewfinder
- can wirelessly control other flash units
- Live View mode is slow to start up
- Autofocus is noisy in video mode
This camera has video issue!
My t3i has same issue in shooting video, it will stop suddenly, although I deny to using the short film function, but it still using the short film....., so I give up to shoot video with it. Beside that, it is a great camera for shooting pictures, quality is amazing, the snap reaction very fast...
Great overall device
I am quite happy with the Rebel T3i. There is nothing negative to say really regarding quality of photos, which is great. However if I had to be critical I would say the autofocus drains the battery quite quickly.- Photo quality
- Battery Life
Canon EOS Rebel T3i Review
While Canon's pro body lineup turns over in a more leisurely fashion, the entry-level lineup now has six offerings including the T3i "flagship" that replaces the former flagship T2i after only a year on the market.- Articulating monitor
- Good video quality
- Excellent images
- Slow AF in video/Live View
- Low battery life in Live View
- No video continuous AF
Canon EOS 600D EF-S 18-55 IS II Kit review
The Canon EOS 600D is getting on in age, having initially been released back in 2011 and has since been superseded by newer models in Canon's entry-level Digital SLR range including the EOS 700D and EOS 750D/760D .
There's not really a great deal wrong with this camera. We would like to see the continuous AF for the HD video, but from a purely photographic perspective the 600D does a superb job.
Canon EOS 600D review
Updates to Canon's popular range of consumer-level digital SLRs always make waves, and the new EOS 600D is no exception. Slotting in at the top end of Canon's entry-level line-up, it ‘makes capturing exciting, fun and creative images easier than ever', the company brags.- Excellent sensor and great high-ISO quality
- articulating LCD screen is bright and detailed
- some improvements over the EOS 550D
- Some menu options hard to find
- layout of controls could be better
An excellent beginners camera that is easy to get the hang of
After much research I finally bit the bullet and bought my first dSLR camera. With plenty of helpful guidance from the nice bloke at Teds, I decided on the Canon 600D. After a quick muck around with some practice shots, I was surprised at how easy it was to use.- Battery life
