There's not really a great deal wrong with this camera. We would like to see the continuous AF for the HD video, but from a purely photographic perspective the 600D does a superb job.

Canon EOS 600D review

Updates to Canon's popular range of consumer-level digital SLRs always make waves, and the new EOS 600D is no exception. Slotting in at the top end of Canon's entry-level line-up, it ‘makes capturing exciting, fun and creative images easier than ever', the company brags.
Pros:
  • Excellent sensor and great high-ISO quality
  • articulating LCD screen is bright and detailed
  • some improvements over the EOS 550D
Cons:
  • Some menu options hard to find
  • layout of controls could be better

An excellent beginners camera that is easy to get the hang of

After much research I finally bit the bullet and bought my first dSLR camera. With plenty of helpful guidance from the nice bloke at Teds, I decided on the Canon 600D. After a quick muck around with some practice shots, I was surprised at how easy it was to use.
Cons:
  • Battery life

Canon EOS Rebel T3i

In this arena the EOS Rebel T3i is pretty comparable to the Nikon D3200, although the Nikon lacks the Canon's swiveling screen and exposure bracketing. You can set the T3i to shoot three photos -- one at a normal exposure, one slightly lower and one slightly higher -- in case you don't like the way...
Pros:
  • Superb image quality
  • even in low light
  • Compact and lightweight
  • Swiveling LCD screen
  • Shoots 1080p full HD video
  • Exposure bracketing
Cons:
  • Tight optical viewfinder
  • Slow autofocus in live view
  • No continuous autofocus when shooting video

The Canon EOS Rebel T3i , also known as the Canon EOS 600D, is an entry-level digital SLR that's definitely worth a look. • Compact in size for a digital SLR
  • Big and flexible rotating 3 inch display with very high resolution

  • customizable My Menu and RAW image support
  • Useful...

Amazing Camera, Not so good bundle

The bag was too small when I added the Zoom Lens and battery grip so I switched it with a bag I had gotten for my old Zeiss Ikon. Has HDMI output but they only give you Composite (YRW). Ordered on Black Friday and received it on Wednesday.
Pros:
  • The Camera is Amazing! 18MP with RAW and 1920 x 1080p HD video
  • Works with all EF or EF-S lenses
  • The kit comes with: EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Lens Extra Battery, Lens Pen, and 2 Filters Included RAW imaging software (it is limited but has all the aberration adjustments for all CANON EF/EF-S...
Cons:
  • The Tripod barely come to my chest and seems too light for this Camera
  • Especially when coupled with the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens and Battery Grip
  • - I got a taller and heavier duty one from "WallyWorld" The memory card is a 4Gb MicroSD with a SD adapter.

  • Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
  • Good Image Quality
  • Good Image Stabilization
Cons:
  • Lag / Shutter Delay
