"Well I've had this camera 4 months now, and is just awesome. The 24-70 f4.0 lens Picture quality is amazingly sharp. The bottom line is that I prefer this lens combination over the 24-105. Don't get me wrong both lines are great, but the 24-70 has macro feature which is very sharp.

This is simply a note to buyers of these high-end Canon cameras in India. I bought the Mark 1 Canon 5D; after some 6 months it needed repair and was sent to a supposedly approved repair shop in Chennai, simply to have a cracked screen on the body replaced. After six months I got the camera back, (!
