Canon EOS Rebel T3 Digital Camera

I know I'm an amateur, but I love taking pictures. I'm a camera enthusiast and I enjoy using many different brands and models. I've used this camera a lot, and I believe it's excellent! I would say that it should be in a category with some of the best.

Canon EOS 1100D review

This 12.2-megapixel DSLR upgrades the 1000D and slots in at the start of the EOS range, where it does battle with Nikon's equally beginner-friendly D3100. As this is supposed to be Canon's most affordable DSLR, it unsurprisingly features a plastic, grey outer shell which makes it appear a little toy...

Affordable; simple to use; long 700-shot battery life; crammed with auto and manual shooting options; one-touch HD video recording and HDMI output

Plasticky and a tad bulky; manual focusing required when shooting video Price: £419 body only or £499 with 18-55mm zoom lens

Canon EOS1100D - Bold [Review] Review

As it stands, the 1100D is a good camera to buy for upgraders from a 1000D, or even Nikon shooters with a D60 who want to change over. If you are using a compact camera and looking to upgrade to a dSLR, the 1100D will expand your shooting possibilities, but remember that investing in lenses is a...

Crisp & clear sensor; Decent kit lens

Only 720p HD video recording; Smallish viewfinder

Great camera for the price

This camera is a Great value for the price. The only downfall is that this camera has no self cleaning, which isn't a huge deal.overall recommended to anyone looking for a quality entry level DSLR.

Canon EOS Rebel T3 Review

We almost felt like Sookie Stackhouse in HBO's True Blood . We closed our eyes and the next thing we knew, a year was gone. In this case we didn't travel in "fairy space time," but blinked and Canon sent out a replacement for the XS and XSi DSLRs.

Canon EOS 1100D review

The Canon EOS 1000D was a fantastic camera, giving frugal shoppers a foothold onto the esteemed EOS range for a breakthrough sub-£400 price. However, its 2.5in screen, lack of video capture and limited performance mean that it's not such a tempting prospect in 2011.

Canon EOS Rebel T3 Review

With the introduction of the T3, Canon lists no fewer than six Rebel cameras in their total DSLR pool of thirteen models. The T3 fits into this hierarchy near the bottom of the pile with an MSRP of only $50 more than the cheapest model, the Rebel XS.

Good image quality; Nice JPEG burst mode; Great at high ISO

No video continuous AF; Smaller monitor; AF times not class-leading

Canon EOS Rebel T3

With Micro Four Thirds models and other mirrorless digital cameras growing in popularity, the digital SLR market has gotten some stiff competition. The category continues to push forward, though, and Canon, which has not yet manufactured a compact interchangeable lens camera, offers up the EOS Rebel...

Very fast; Good low-light performance

Body feels underbuilt; Similarly priced Micro Four Thirds cameras offer better performance in smaller bodies; Live View LCD suffers from painfully slow focus; Poor focusing in movie mode
