Awesome little DSLR
I purchased this camera about 3 weeks ago and it is great to carry around when I am not using my Canon 60D. Light weight, small size and you can use your Canon lenses. I am p`d off because I ordered it through Henry`s on-line, paid $799.95 and now Henry`s has it on sale for $50.00 less!

I'm reviewing the SL1 as a long-time Canon DSLR user and one that has been searching for a good, small, speedy backup camera for casual use. I'll leave the highly technical issues such as ISO performance to others. I've had a series of smaller cameras like the Canon G11.

If you're looking for something which is truly portable, but still retains DSLR-type stylings and operability, take a look at the Panasonic G5 or the newer Panasonic G6
