Purchased this to replace the old IS II version of this lens that had broken. I am extremely impressed with this lens for the price. The STM autofocus is completely silent, and the image stabilization is excellent. It feels well built and has no play or lens droop.

it's original prove is 8k then why they are showing 12000 there which not good for this lens

Works amazing
I've brought this to match my Nikon lens, and this one is so much better, My review is this is cheaper then the other companies out there.

CANON EF-S 55-250 mm f/4-5.6 STM IS Telephoto Zoom Lens
Pros:
- Sharp
- fast to focus
- minimal chromatic aberration
- good zoom range
- image stabilisation very effective
Cons:
- Nothing so far

Excellent sharp images
I'm using this with my newly purchased (from Argos) Canon 750D camera. As a newcomer to this quality of photographic equipment I'm absolutely delighted with this lens. It's so quick and easy to change the lenses, and the sharp quality of the image with the stabiliser feature is amazing.

Good lens great price for hobbyists
New to photography. I pick up new hobbies at whim so I didn't want to spend a small fortune on camera accessories immediately but knew I had a need for this type of lens. It is noisy but I'm ok with that. It took a little getting used to but it really seems to read my mind.
