Great all-purpose lens
This is a great lens that we have been using in place of our two original lenses (18-55 and 75-300). It takes good quality photos, with a great zoom. It is heavier than the other lenses, but not noticeably so. Would definitely recommend this lens.

Great zoom lens
Outstanding service! Ordered the lens kit and received it the following day. Great zoom lens. I love the wide focal range of the zoom allowing me to carry this lens instead of two additional lenses. Major upgrade from the 18-55mm lens kit that came with my camera.

Compact, lightweight and a wide magnification range - this standard zoom lens features a wide focal length range from normal to telephoto equivalent to 29-320mm in the 35mm format.. It features an Optical Image Stabilizer for up to 4-stops of effective correction even at full zoom.

Extremely disappointed with this lens
I was better off buying the 18-135 mm. I was shocked to see that there is no much difference between 135-200 mm. The built of this lens is very poor, I thought it was broken when I first opened the package but when I tried another lens (same specs) it was exactly the same.

An excellent all round lens for 90% of your needs
Just to add to a previous review - the zoom actually can be locked so that it does not extend when being worn around the neck - this makes the lens magnificent for a full days action. This is the favourite lens in my collection and normally is resident on the body for general use.
