Great Lens, Good Price
It is great not having to switch between lenses for everyday shots, both close-up and at a distance. I highly recommend this lens.

Great overall lens
Pros: Great overall lens, allows me to take only one lens. Pictures look great. Cons: Only annoyance is that the lens 'trails out' when hanging by the neck strap. Seems like that could have been engineered out.

Not particularly good
I've had this lens for about a month. I've used it for some landscape, some street pictures around town and some shots of flower gardens and macro photos of flowers. I've used it on a 50D body and a T3i body about equally.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Wide Focal Length Range
Cons:
- Lens Creep
- Poor image quality
- Poor in Low Light

- Fast / accurate auto-focus
- Lightweight

An excellent all round lens for 90% of your needs
Just to add to a previous review - the zoom actually can be locked so that it does not extend when being worn around the neck - this makes the lens magnificent for a full days action. This is the favourite lens in my collection and normally is resident on the body for general use.

Cons:

Reseobjektiv

Great "do it all" lens
This is a great do-it-all lens covering probably the most frequently used focal lengths that the majority of people will use. Its not a substitute for a good prime lens as the compromises of a superzoom mean a trade off in overall sharpness, however this can only be seen in extreme enlagements and...
Pros:
- Easily Interchangeable
- Quick Focus
- Rugged
- Strong Construction
Cons:
- Heavy
