Canon EF 8-15mm f4L Fisheye USM
The Canon EF 8-15mm Fisheye zoom is a unique lens and one for which anticipation has been steadily building since its original announcement back in August 2010. Now one year on, the lens has finally hit the stores and I've had a chance to see what all the fuss is about in my review.
Pros:
- 180 degree diagonal fisheye for all Canon DSLRs
- 180 degree circular fisheye for full-frame DSLRs
- Tough build with weatherproofing
- Optically sharp across the entire imaging circle
Cons:
- Vulnerable-looking front element
- Lens cap easily comes loose
- Chromatic aberrations in areas of high contrast
- Full circular fisheye only available to full-frame

Here's (another) update after having used this lens for almost 2 1/2 years. This is one lens I always try to take with me just in case an opportunity presents itself. I have examples of this lens on a FF here:http://www.pbase.com/pegsam/fisheyeShooting at 8 mm is pretty straightforward and it does...
Pros:
- More versatile than I originally imagined
Cons:
- Lens hood
- some chromatic aberration at the edge

"amazing lens for landscape, scenery close-ups (!!!) excellent construction and first-rate sharpness and color saturation, its an L series, and it shows. I forgot to mention the almost limitless special effects possibilities."

GREAT LENS!
This is a great lens. It was all that I imagined. I love the wide field of view on this beauty. I am a big wide-angle shooter, and this satisfies all my needs. You can capture a lot of different elements in one exposure thanks to this lens.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Rugged
Cons:
- Heavy

Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L USM Fisheye
A VERY UNIQUE lens indeed! While a fisheye isn't for everyone, I find that if you're in a rut photographically, put this baby on your camera! If that doesn't get you going, I don't know what will.
Pros:
- Great lens with more functionality than the previous 15mm
Cons:
- Price

In a past life did a lot of underwater photography, so got used to the wide angle fell and was in the market for a wide lens. Tried a non Canon zoom but was unimpressed with the focus and build quality.
Pros:
- Superior build quality
- Super-sharp images
- Fast auto-focus

Canon EF 8-15mm f4.0 L USM Fisheye
Another tasty bit of bottle from the Neasden boys, this one with a front end the width of your hand and so deep and dark you could sink your arm in it up to the elbow. Sporting a smart paint job featuring the L-type red band and white lettering on a black lens barrel, it comes with the Canon...
Pros:
- Great Features
- Great Picture Quality
- Lightweight
- Looks Ultra-cool
- Simple Controls
Cons:
- Bulky

Great fisheye zoom
fun, fun and more fun with bending lines... It is great lens for both - full frame body (I used it on 5D) and on crop sensor like 7D, 60D and lower. I did couple pictures with my 7D and actually you can have more use of this lens on crop sensor camera ...
Pros:
- 14-15mm on FF
Cons:
- lens hood and lens cap design..
