I'm in love with this lens!
The other day, I went out on a photo shoot to exercise my new Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM lens. This lens produces circular 180o fisheye images with full-frame cameras at 8mm, and diagonal 180o fisheye images at 15mm.

de-fish for ultra wide
I wanted to find an ultra-wide lens for taking pictures of small rooms. The 14mm is awesome but sometimes not wide enough. Setting this 8-15mm at about 12mm then clicking the de-fish button in Photoshop gives ultra-wide.Not sure if my picture uploads will work so here are a couple linkshttp:...

Canon EF 8-15mm f4.0 L USM Fisheye
Another tasty bit of bottle from the Neasden boys, this one with a front end the width of your hand and so deep and dark you could sink your arm in it up to the elbow. Sporting a smart paint job featuring the L-type red band and white lettering on a black lens barrel, it comes with the Canon...

Great fisheye zoom
fun, fun and more fun with bending lines... It is great lens for both - full frame body (I used it on 5D) and on crop sensor like 7D, 60D and lower. I did couple pictures with my 7D and actually you can have more use of this lens on crop sensor camera ...
Pros:
- 14-15mm on FF
Cons:
- lens hood and lens cap design..

The new Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM is a world-wide popular accessory. Leveraging on its unique focal length range, the EF 8-15mm f/4L USM, it has become the world's widest fisheye zoom lens.
Pros:
- Dual circular and diagonal fisheye options on full-frame cameras
- Impressive image quality
- Fabulous L-series build quality and ring-type USM autofocus
Cons:
- Absence of circular/diagonal versatility on APS-C and APS-H cameras
- Fisheye distortion effect is minimized at 15mm on an APS-C camera
- Quite expensive for a fisheye lens
