Excellent value for a quality item.
Very good lense especially for the price when you are only an amatuer, gives a very good result for not as much outlay compared to others on market.Good all-round v/happy with purchase.

cannon ef75-300 lens
It is great to have an auto-focus zoom lens with the camera. No need to be an expert to take great photos, having a zoom lens makes it fun to take pictures and the price is great for what you get.

Love this lens!
The Cannon EF 75-300 mm lens works just as I had hoped. The zoom has already helped me in obtaining beautiful photos of wildlife. Incredible zoom with beautiful clarity of photos.

Awesome & Sharp As a Tack!
The lens is a bit more telephoto than I need for close-range, but I bought it in a pinch - my regular lens was in the repair shop. I was very impressed with the deep rich colors and high-definition of my pictures, delivering an end product my old lens couldn't even come close to.
Pros:
- Brilliant colors
- Sharp Focus
Cons:
- No Wide Angle

75-300mm Telephoto
Great for Beginners & intermediates, If your looking for a Telephoto lens then you've realized you want more from your camera. As long as you know how to hold your camera with a telephoto lens this is the one you want.
Pros:
- easy to use for crisp pics at a distance
Cons:
- none

Good camera lens...
I love this new lens. It offers high quality zoom capabilities without the steep prices of the competition. But its not so good if you have shaky hands. But a tripod or proper stances will have you set.

Not for EF-S
If you have an EF-S camera, you don't want this lens, you want to 55-250 IS lens which is a *much* better piece of glass. It's actually sharp at 250mm and the image stabilization makes hand held shots at max tele practical.
Pros:
- Cheap
Cons:
- Not a good lens
- The optics are not very good
- Mine is only anywhere near sharp at max tele if and only if I use F/11
- Even a half stop up or down from there and it gets fuzzy
- The lack of image stabilization makes it hard to use at f/11 except on a very bright day
