GREAT CANON LENS, ITS LIGHT, THE LENS DIALS ARE TIGHT, NO LOOSE RINGS OR NOISE, ITS BEEN PUT TOGETHER VERY WELL, LENS WORKS GREAT ON MY CANON T7I. THE IMAGES ARE CLEAR AND CRISP, THE FOCAL LENGTH IS AMAZING....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LENS.

Great value for money - not a professional but still takes great photos.
could not afford a genuine model but this one does the job required. Travelling to USA in March and cannot wait to use on our trip.

Can't be beat in this price range!
When looking for a quality lense for a name brand camera, as a hobby photographer, everything usually breaks down into two groups: Lenses intended for professional or career photographers that cost more than you are willing to pay. Specialty lenses that have a more limited use but fit your budget.

Zoom, zoom...
This lens is like the 50mm 1.8--you need to have it in your case now and perhaps forever—until you have a lot more money, these are the lenses you're going to use all the time. The kit lens also falls into this category.

Good lens for the price
The bottom-line is that this lens captures wonderfully sharp images and for the price you pay that represents good value. Juggling the various options of shutter-speed, ISO, hand-held or tripod with the available aperture to get the exposure right is no harder with this lens than with many other...

brilliant lens
lens is brillant for taking scenery shots and nice landscapes. The focus isnt brillant at max zoom but zoom back a fraction and its spot on. Another note is that the auto focus is rather noisy and can be quite clumsy at times.

I bought this as a package deal with the Canon Rebel EOS T3 and, as part of the package, it is definitely worth the price.<br /><br /> I live next to the Fair Hill Nature Resource Area and take a lot of wildlife and landscape photos and have found this lens to be useful although, not perfect.

Nice lens for a begginers
I use it for outdoor scenery, and have taken some great shots. It's a little slow to focus which at times makes me lose my shots.
