could not afford a genuine model but this one does the job required. Travelling to USA in March and cannot wait to use on our trip.

Awesome & Sharp As a Tack!
The lens is a bit more telephoto than I need for close-range, but I bought it in a pinch - my regular lens was in the repair shop. I was very impressed with the deep rich colors and high-definition of my pictures, delivering an end product my old lens couldn't even come close to.

75-300mm Telephoto
Great for Beginners & intermediates, If your looking for a Telephoto lens then you've realized you want more from your camera. As long as you know how to hold your camera with a telephoto lens this is the one you want.

When I bought my Canon 1100D DSLR camera it came as part of a package with a camera case and two lenses. One of the lenses was this Canon 75mm-300mm zoom lens. ~ Price ~ This lens costs ￡108.01 from Amazon.co.uk or ￡76.89 reduced from ￡110.95 from Play.com.
Pros:

- good to experiment with
Cons:
- bulky and heavy
- not as versatile as other lenses

Very Disappointed
I've purchased two of these new. Both autofocus systems failed after the warranty expired. I've had multiple other Canon lenses for numerous years and have NEVER had a problem. However, this 75-300 lense certainly seems to be an inferior product. Don't waste your money on this one.
