Top Lens
I haven't had this lens long but have found it to be excellent. It is quite expensive so I gave it 4 stars for value. This is not a reflection of the quality but just the price. I did receive the money back from Canon quite fast this time in contrast to my previous experience.

I'm very happy that I did
I returned mine and got a higher-quality older lens off of eBay. I'm very happy that I did. This lens isn't very sharp at all but will fit the bill if you just need a lens and aren't too picky about the image quality.

Brilliant quality and consistent results.
Candids of grandchildren, or anyone in fact. Easy to carry around on Canon 5d mk 4, even though a bit weighty! Well balanced. Excellent and consistent results. Would buy from Wex again, no problem.
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Easily Interchangeable
- Quick Focus
- Rugged
- Sharp Focus
- Strong Construction

Excellent Lens and zooms further than expected
Bought this lens to go on a Canon Eos 200D DSLR Camera. It is fast to focus and has a good zoom range (maybe not as far as others). The photos come out crisp and clear. Even though the lens does feel heavy, when you have it attached to your camera I didn't really notice it.

For private use WOW!
Well I have tried the lens out today after getting receipt this morning. Not for professional use perhaps but with image stabilisation and compact size. Great for zooming in on subjects and even good with macro use. Does what I need for now.

I bought this because I do a bit of "birding" and I wanted a long lens. The non "L" version was a bit disappointing. This is substantially bulkier, and heavier but oh my, it is terrific!
Pros:
- Sharp as a tack
- good fast focusing
Cons:
- Big
- heavy
- (compared to non L version
