Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM Lens Review

At PMA 2004 Canon announced a new lens, the EF 28-300/3.5-5.6L IS USM. It's very similar to the current EF35-350/3.5-5.6L in size and shape and is its logical successor. Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM Lens Review
Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6l IS USM is a one of relatively few extreme zooms that was released by Canon back in 2004. The extreme zooms seem to be getting a resurgence in popularity lately and both OEMs as well as 3rd party lens manufacturers now have at least one such extreme zoom in their lineup.

Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM review by Panmunjom
I use this lens at work with a Canon T1i, I think it works better than the old Nikon D90 & equivalent lens which was rendered damaged beyond repair after having been dropped out the door of a helicopter.
Pros:
- Build quality
- Also comes in black (for Japan customers only)
Cons:
- Heavy
- Expensive (I don't own it but I do get to use it everyday
