Awesome choice!
It may be a little bit heavy but it is by far my favorite lens. The image quality is amazing in this top of the line lens. (6 months use)

This replaced the same lens and i could not be without it, it's a great lens.

Stunning all-in-one lens for Weddings
I have had this lens for 10 years or so, it's amazing. I shoot weddings predominantly, it's sharp, it fast enough (could always be faster, but modern bodies with noise-free high-iso make this a non-issue).

Great all around lens
I borrowed a friend of mines lens before I just purchased one from B&H.Here is my final analysis of the Canon EF 28-300mm F/3.5-5.6L lens. Weight is only 190 grams more than the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM Lens.
