Definitely a step up
This was my first L series lens. Definitely worth the investment, for the image quality alone . Very versatile lens

My go to lens!
Bought this lens to go on my 7dmk2 have various other lenses from wide angle lenses and zooms up 300mm for telephoto, but find this lens is the one that stays on my camera most of the time, love the soft bokeh this lens produces, Its my first L series lens and totally love it!.
