Awesome Lens
I'm still learning how to use it, but thus far this lens way out does the lens that comes with the body. High quality pictures with exceptional captures.

A lens for all seasons
Great for landscapes, sunrises, and sunsets - particularly in combination with graduated neutral density filters to balance exposure of land and sky. Amazing for indoor room photos - a must for any Realtor. Superior for architects' pictures of structures.

Great light lens
Very sharp, found it to be much sharper and more accurate than my 24-70 2.8L, however when open wide at 17mm, there is some considerable distortion to watch out for especially with portraits. Photoshop's lens corrector tool should be able to help with that though.

NICE LENS!
Bought this lens to round out my lenses for Landscape photography. Took it on a recent trip to shoot waterfalls at a local state park, did a great job. Sharp, vibrant pics - very satisfied!

An excellent wide angle lens
This is a great wide angle lens & in my eyes represents better value than the 16-35 for a few reasons:1- it's literally half the cost2- it's a lot lighter3- I don't have a need for f2.8 when shooting landscapes.I really like the images that it produces & the quality of the L glass speaks for itself.

Nice color and focus
I use this lens for shooting abandoned buildings, so I can more get the scope of the place I'm shooting. THe only thing to keep in mind is that this lens is an f4, so there are some speed and low light issues, but if you're using strobes then it's not a problem.

Awesome Lens
I love this lens. Nice color reproduction and fast focusing. Gave me great results in my last outdoor photo shoots!!

Awesome lens
This lens is well worth the price and I hate paying high prices for things. I would give this lens a 9/10.
Pros:
- Great detail and color in photos really can't ask for more here
- I am a novice in the full frame camera world but I have to say this lens does everything I ask of it
Cons:
- Slow focus time and sometimes the lens can't focus at all if what you are looking at lacks enough detail to get the right sharpness
- Zoom is very small and basic but decent for close ups
