Stunning lens
I was looking for a wide angle zoom lens for my EOS 6D and while the EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM is not the most affordable option I feel like it's worth every penny. On the 20 megapixel sensor of the 6D it delivers sharpness at every focal length and every aperture from corner to corner. It also shows little to no chromatic aberrations and handles flare very well. All around a professional level lens that never lets you down.

Superb wide angle zoom
Upgraded from Canon's 17-40 L and the difference in image quality improvement is really noticeable. Images are pin sharp right into the corners even wide open. The IS is handy for low light too. Got some superb night shots of New York with this lens.

Great Landscape Lens
I bought this lens for a photo-trip to Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona. The lens did a great job, even at the extremes of the zoom range. Buying through Crutchfield was a pleasant experience, they kept me up-to-date on my order the whole way through.
Pros:
- great sharpness throughout
- has wide focus and zoom rings
Cons:
- does not seem as durable as other Canon "L" glass

Amazing!
"When I bought my 6D a year and a half ago, it comes with the 24-105mm lens. For a while I was content with it. However there were times when I'm shooting my clients backyard projects, or interior and exterior scenes when I can get wide enough.

Excellent wide-angle lens
Pros - Ultra-wide angle - Great image quality throughout the image - Includes IS - Great price for what you get Cons - f4, but expected given the price - Minor barrel distortion, but totally acceptable given the wide angle - Physically a bit larger than I would have liked, but is acceptable

For the first few days I was dissapointed but later i have realised this is much better for shooting flats than the Zeiss 18 3.5 ZE i had before. It's great for wide angle shoots and ok for portraits at 35mm but I wish Canon would just make lens like Zeiss 15mm 2.8 for the price of the 16-35 4 IS
Pros:
- Versatile, IS is a killer good, distorsion in not bad
- Sharpness is not too bad in corners
Cons:
- I guess it's sharper than other canon wide zooms but not as close as sharp as Zeiss 21mm 2.8 ZE
- Out of focus part seem a bit weird as if they are result of camera shake

Time for Landscape Photography
Hey AllAlways I used to go with my Great Combo 5dm3 with 70-200 ii which is always giving me the "WOW" pictures. But for long time I was not happy with wide angle focal length with 24-105/24-70 2.8 ii/16-35 2.8Then later I bought this lens after seeing the paper configuration and it blows me away :...
Pros:
- Sharp
Cons:
- Distortion 16mm
