Terrific addition to the video camera - transforms the sound

Fantastic addition to the camera. Works so much better than the standard internal microphone. Wind cover works really well and cuts out wind roar in even the most extreme conditions. Easy and quick to fit. Shot gun works as effectively as a hand held mic. in front of the subject.

Pricey But Worth It

Once you make peace with having to pay roughly one-quarter of the price of the HF100 just for this mic, you'll be very happy with the substantial improvement it provides over the Vixia's internal mic. It's just a shame Canon accessories are always so expensive.
