Great product. Works perfectly. Amazing picture quality. Compact equipment. Easy to work, I would recommend this to all of my family and friends.I would definitely purchase another one of these.

I bought the Canon DC10 Digital DVD Camcorder a really long while back, the reason I did was the price it was within an actual human beings price range so I wasn't going to get anything cheaper. It had all the features you would need, but it did lack in some way.
works great ,good price
none
Gadgets are a pet love of mine and compact has always intrigued me when it comes to cameras and mobiles, and so when it came to buying a camcorder for my month long trip in many different places across Europe , I decided to splash out and treat myself, and paid about £290 for the canon DC 10 .
good effective resolution
small optical zoom
I bought this for my sister as a wedding present. The camera has a lot of good features. But when they used a set of DVDs on it, they found that only 1/2 of the discs they used would record correctly. not sure if the problem is with the disks or formatting.
This camcorder is sold with Macintosh compatible software (Digital Video Solutions Disc Version 19.0) unfortunately the other software supplied (Roxio MyDVD) which allows download of the video to a computer is only compatible with a Windows based PC.
DVD is undeniably superior to the ageing VHS tape format in the world of home movies, but you might be surprised to learn that the same is not necessarily true in the land of the camcorder.
Comparitively small chassis; ease of operation
Image quality could be improved
Canon makes some interesting claims about the DC10 DVD camcorder. The side of the box proclaims it to be "Super Slim". We'd pretty much agree with them there, it is fairly small for a DVD model. Next they point out that it has a Megapixel CCD sensor. We can't argue with them there either.
Nice features; compact frame
Image quality could be improved; interface a little cluttered
The Canon DC10 is one of two camcorders marking Canon's first entry into the DVD camcorder market (the other being the D20). In the past, DVD cams have largely proven to be convenience-oriented gizmos with little to offer in the way of manual control.
