Absolutely worth it!
An unbelievably crisp lens. Obviously, there are lenses that are less that are probably close to being just as good (perhaps the Xeen lenses, haven't tried them but they look promising), and there are lenses that cost more that are probably even better, but the throw on the focus ring is real nice,...

If you enjoyed full control over your recording, especially on the EOS camera, you will love this lens. The manual exposure and focus control is a pleasure. The lens is bit bigger and take a bit to get use to it, but once you buildup enough muscle to handle it, you will love it.
