Works great but the battery lid is not latching quite right any more, similar to what another reviewer wrote. It has definitely not be mishandled - in pristine condition...need to examine more closely.

I used these binoculars in Mozambique and South Africa recently and found them perfect for wildlife viewing. I get emotional when I see animals and my hands shake with excitement. The image stabilizer on these binoculars fixed that right up.

Does not collapse enough for me to see without some double visions issues. Burns through batteries rather fast.

There have been many reviews that have stated the wish for Canon to implement a push on/push off switch for the IS on these binoculars. I have found a workaround that gives me the best of both options. Find a thick rubber band that will fit tightly around the binoculars over the switch position.

Have 2 10x and bought these as a more compact addition. Best glasses for the money...anywhere.

Not Waterproof

Canon had rebates for stabilizers,but I did not receive it after I filled out the form and sent it by certified mail before the deadline. When I called the number on the form, the number was not working at all. Be cautious with Canon.
