Stabilizes moving objects; great!

I wanted a pair of binoculars with a stabilizer. One reason was so I could read fuel prices down the road while vehicle is moving. When I got these and tried them at home while still, it was amazing how they steady things (like birds). I took them on the road and they work just as well.

Works great

I'll leave reviews of the optics and such to others who have more knowledge in the area. I bought these for the image stabilization, and that part works wonderfully. The view is the same as other binoculars I've had, until you press (and hold) the magic button.

Excellent product [...]

They are brilliant - clear and bright images and the stabilising function shows me just how much I have been missing. Once someone has tried these, it would be very hard for them to go back to binoculars without this stabilising system as they would then realise how much they would miss.[...

Clear bright images; Easy to Use; Good design; Image stabiliser; Stylish carry pouch

"I can see clearly now!"

Canon are famed for the quality of their optical equipment and rightly so. I bought these smart binoculars for my Mum over 15 years ago for her 70th birthday. An avid birdwatcher, 10 X 30 are ideal for this purpose and the image stabiliser function which basically eliminates the "shakes" greatly...

These are the business! Focus on your target, press the button and it's almost like looking at a 3D image. The bird/item is suddenly crystal clear and it's almost as if your using a tripod.

Binoculars with the "Wow Factor".

I don't know how to describe adequately my surprise and delight when I looked through these binoculars and pressed the stabilisation button for the first time. I really did say "wow", out loud. Other reviewers have pointed out that optically these are very good glasses but not the best.

Great binoculars. Happy customer.

These binoculars address the two main problems I had with my previous binos: - stability without a tripod - the image from the two lenses are in alignment they do both these things well. I am therefore very happy with them, and would recommend them.

The shakes are gone

I have a mild resting tremor that has developed over the last several years. As a boater I need to use binoculars regularly, my old trusty Minolta Mariners would not do. The Canon is great. Even those of you without a tremor will notice how well the stabilization works.
