If you are considering a DAC you already are familiar with what they can do. This from Cambridge Audio has completely transformed my listing experience. I grew up on vinyl and cds have been a great disappointment.

The DacMagic digital to analogue converter was something of a runaway success for Cambridge Audio when they released it a couple of years ago.
Extensive connections; Flexible setup; Impressive array of features; Superb sound; Excellent build quality; User selectable filters; Headphone socket,...
No remote control; More expensive than its predecessor
Had this DAC for a few weeks with a PC setup. Really like the features and functionality. Sound quality was a noticeable improvement!

Can pay more for better sound No marking on the volume knob
this is my future purchase I listened with 1 amp and Emotiva xpa2 panel Magnepan 1.2qr ... this is the best sound I've heard low clean and vibrant, gorgeous sharp end into medium and micro details.
Great product
I bought this DAC a couple of weeks ago to reinforce my Cambridge Audio Azure CD player, after I had to have it rebuilt, and to provide TV sound for special music/sporting events. The manual says to 'burn-in' for a minimum of I week( 168 hours ) before it will really 'start to sing'.
Introduction This week I'm starting a review that's in two parts. It is about two digital to analogue converters from Cambridge Audio – the DacMagic Plus and the DacMagic 100. These DACs were released last year as the latest in a long line of DACs from Cambridge Audio.
