(PlayStation 4 Review) Call of Duty: WWII

It says something about the trajectory of the Call of Duty series that a return to World War II makes it feel like a new setting-well, new-ish. As Private First Class Ronald ‘Red' Daniels, players take on the role of the archetypical "farm boy" who finds himself out of his depth, stomping around...

Awesome Graphics

Although I'm not usually a Cod type of person this game really captures every detail with its graphics and the campaign mode story Is very interesting especially the parts where you have to use stealth to escape the hotel with the young girl

"Great game!"

I purchased this game to have a good time playing, and that is exactly what I got. The controls handle perfectly and the graphics are amazing. The campaign has a compelling story that makes you want to play it more, and the multiplayer is great.

Call of Duty: WWII (PlayStation 4) Review

Yay… boots on the ground! Hopefully that tiresome, overused phrase can finally be airlifted out of the gaming lexicon as Call of Duty is all about that terra-firma trench foot experience, baby.

Call of Duty: WW2 - The War Machine DLC Review

The War Machine's new multiplayer content has some high points, but also its fair share of duds. I count the large, versatile Egypt map as one of my favorites in all of Call of Duty: WW2, while I'd be happy without ever playing Domination or Hardpoint on the unbalanced Dunkirk map again.

Liberate Europe with The 1st Infantry Division In Call of Duty: WWII

Though I am still working on finishing up the game, Call of Duty: WWII by Sledgehammer Games has been good so far. As far as the single-player missions the game is worth playing but I did find some pitfalls and parts that could have been done better or left out of the game.

Call of Duty: WWII is a return to the original recipe, the first game set during the Second World War in 10 years. In a lot of ways it attempts to reboot the series as a more grounded, more sober military shooter that's less Michael Bay and more Ken Burns.

Call of Duty: WWII review

Toby Berger is conscripted for CoD: WWII, the series' long-awaited return to its roots, from Advanced Warfare's Sledgehammer Games.

Some good moments in the single-player campaign; Multiplayer remains excellent; War is a welcome addition, as is divisions; Sound design is fantastic; Nazi Zombies is brilliant

Besides those few good moments, the single-player campaign is subpar; Map design encourages camping; Post-match issues derail a usually smooth and snappy multiplayer experience

Call Of Duty: WWII review – back to its roots

This year's COD goes back to the Second World War for the first time in nearly a decade, with a return to boots on the ground action.

Fantastic graphics and presentation; Headquarters is an impressive social hub and the less traditional elements of the campaign work well; War mode is great fun

The campaign is too clichéd in terms of both characters and overfamiliar set pieces; Multiplayer gameplay has no real new ideas and gets old quickly; Too few maps for War
