BEST 1ST PERSON GAME I'VE EVER SEEN...ESPECIALLY THE ON-LINE PLAY. NO NEED TO BY A BRAND NEW COPY. PREVIOUSLY USED IS JUST AS GOOD AS NEW. PLUS YOU CAN GET ALL THE NEW MAPS THROUGH THE PLAYSTATION NETWORK. GAME IS WAY TOO MUCH FUN...ALMOST ADDICTIVE.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the best COD title, period. Its story is the deepest in the franchise and the environments, weapons, enemy and friendly AI are all realistic and perfectly incorporated.

Possibly the most enjoyable shooter ive played in a long time, Single player is a little short, but challenging and very worth while, but its all about the online multiplayer, hectic fast paced fun, varying game mods, just perfect in every aspect.

This is an awesome FPS, it surpasses COD3 in all aspects minus one. The game is surprisingly short, I finished the single player campaign in about 4 hours on Normal difficulty. Luckily it has an arcade mode that allows you to replay missions and get scored on it (similar to Splinter Cell: Chaos...

When someone thinks about World War 2 videogames, two big names come up: Call of Duty and Medal of Honor. As the current generation watches this sub-genre fall out of place, and the Medal of Honor series following it, developer Infinity Ward saw opportunity.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat is my new favorite game. When I first popped it in, I was blown away. Graphics are photo-realistic and scary good. Gone is the glossy sheen seen in so many next-gen games today. Instead, you are presented with graphics so amazing, you feel like you are there.

The Call of Duty series is one of the most successful first person shooter series and probably the best of the World War II-based shooters. Now Infinity Ward takes the series on a new direction with Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.

This game has it all. Graphics like you have never seen before and top quality sounds. The intensity of the battles is nothing short of immense. It is the only game I have played that onced switch off, even after only one level, I need to remind myself I am not actually special forces.

Now....... this is hard for me to give it 3 stars because on one hand you have a fantastic fast paced single player game and on the other you have a drab (still fast paced) multiplayer.

Really great game! Personally I think it could havew better controls - no peeking round corners etc, but still fantastic game. Definately worth a rent!
