Call of Duty: Ghosts Review

isn't a reinvention of the franchise, but proves there's still room for innovation within its existing formula. Though at the risk of overcomplicating things at times, its robust multiplayer gameplay, surprisingly fun co-op modes, and lengthy, challenging, and varied campaign makes Ghosts one of the...

Greater team focus; Robust class system; Exceptional campaign

Maps too large; Overly complex

Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox 360

With the advent of a new console generation - the first such shift since the original Modern Warfare debuted - Activision had a perfect opportunity to finally guide its top-selling shooter in a totally new direction. But...they didn't.

+ A predictable but polished single-player campaign; + Multiplayer proves as addictive as ever (especially with the addition of Extinction)

? When will a new FPS finally dethrone

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Hold on tight because it seems like Fall is on its way out and winter is almost here. That means two things: snow and new games. The way things are shaping up; we are going to have lots of both.

Well-executed single player story; run and gun is broken up with different game modes; new graphic and audio engine; the new Extinction co-op mode; a wealth of new multiplayer features

Ending was a bit clichéd; relatively short single-player campaign

Call of Duty: Ghosts

There's something to be said for a game series clinging to what made it popular. Heck Nintendo has basically made a career out of recycling the Mario and Zelda games as much as they can get away with.

Fast paced multiplayer combat; exciting campaign set pieces; plentiful customization options; Extinction mode is a great inclusion

Server stability was an issue at launch; campaign ends on a flustered whimper; graphical issues

Call of Duty: Ghosts

The latest Call of Duty title really lives up to its name. After a couple of turns in the territory of "Black Ops", the latest installment dubbed "Ghosts" has a lot to live up to. There was a time when the series felt somewhat grounded in reality, particularly during the titles set during World War...

Call of Duty: Ghosts Xbox 360 Review

The box calls it the best-selling first-person action franchise, but this is an important new entry for the series as the next generation arrives. Does it make good use of current hardware, and how does it compare to the previous best sellers?

Call of Duty: Ghosts (Xbox 360) Review

isn't a bad game, it's just getting stale at this point. While Treyarch seems keen to at least try a few new things and see what works, Infinity Ward is complacent to bring back more of the same.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts

The 'Call of Duty' franchise is firmly entrenched in a rut, and attempting to find fresh aspects requires a fine-tooth comb. While it can be remarkable to find where some creativity has shown through, it's difficult to escape one conclusion.

(Xbox 360 Review) Call of Duty: Ghosts

Call of Duty: Ghosts is more conservative than Black Ops II , but what it lacks in boldness it makes up for with a bombastic campaign, an increased focus on fluidity, and enjoyable new modes.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts Review

" Call Of Duty: Ghosts " is a fine enough game in its own right, but when compared to Black Ops 2, I much prefer the ways in which Treyarch are taking the COD games. The story, whilst action-packed, lacks any real ambition, and seems like a step back.
