Old fashioned COD gameplay

With the latest COD games focusing on advanced movement, Ghosts is one of the last to feature the original movement seen in past COD games. However it also uses the old engine that has been in use since COD4, and it is definitely looking outdated.

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Ghosts is a cookie cutter game with a little touch of alien frosting on top. However, the well-designed multiplayer maps, soldier customization, and polished gameplay is more than enough to sink your teeth into.

Fantastic; polished controls the series is known for; Multiplayer is as entertaining as ever

Single-player missions are a snoozefest; Squads is more of a practice mode for beginners than a successor to Spec Ops; Extinction doesn't hold the same appeal as Zombies

PS4 Review: Call of Duty Ghosts

The PS4 version of Call of Duty Ghosts is the definitive one for both newcomers and even those who already own a PS3, 360 or Wii U version. The DualShock 4 definitely is better for FPS, I just wish IW had made use of the touchpad more than they did, it seems like a missed opportunity.

Don't give this to your kids.

I was going to write a mock review. But whatever. I really only used to come onto sites like this to laugh at what people say about games but I need to be honest here. THERE IS LOTS OF VIOLENCE AND GUNS. There is swearing. There is violent death and executions and blood.

Call of Duty: Ghosts - Onslaught review

The moment thousands of haters have waited for is finally here. Call of Duty is wobbling. Reviews of Ghosts were more wearily critical than usual, and with sales noticeably down on those of its predecessor, it seems gamers too may be growing tired of the annual "corridors and carnage" formula.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Review

Another November means another Call of Duty , but things are different this time. The Infinity Ward we once knew is no more and the Modern Warfare sub-series that made the military FPS franchise what it is today has been left behind.

High-octane campaign.; Riley (the dog) isn't overused, More of that tried-and-true multiplayer.; Squads and Extraction mix up traditional multiplayer

Review: Call of Duty: Ghosts (Sony PlayStation 4)

Another year has passed us by, and we are once again graced by another Call of Duty release, this time by the Infinity Ward team, more or less. The team has gone through some significant restructuring in the past couple years, and this was fairly apparent when Modern Warfare 3 hit the market, as it...

If you can't get enough of Call of Duty's multiplayer action, Ghosts certainly delivers the goods. The more casual players might be disappointed at its incremental refinement and spectacular, but all-too-short single-player campaign.
