Excellent and cohesive story with varied locales and set-piece moments; voice acting is well-done; multiplayer is much more balanced this time around; packed with many modes and customization options; dedicated servers are back

PC version is riddled with technical issues; some lackluster level design in the campaign; main character has uneven voice acting; graphics are serviceable at best; friendly and enemy AI isn\'t that bright

Call of Duty: Black Ops Review

Oh, and then there's the Zombies. Yep, Black Ops signals the return of World at War's highly lauded Zombie mini-game and it's just as much of a blast as before. Here, you can play as historical giants such as Fidel Castro, Nixon, JFK, and Robert McNamara in a side gig that offers a compelling mix of...

The enormity of things to do in multiplayer; The gripping storyline; The hilarious and immensely enjoyable Zombie mode

The poor AI; The various clipping; shading and other visual issues

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Call of Duty has quickly become the flagship series for first-person shooters, and for good reason. For years now, they've provided epic, cinematic-driven campaigns, and insanely addictive multiplayer modes.

More addictive multiplayer; still some of the best action found in a first-person shooter; outstanding graphics and sound design; can finally record and share replays; JFK + zombies = awesome

Campaign is short; lacking originality; glitches and bugs

Call of Duty Black Ops

Great: Impressive efforts with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth your time and cash.

Call of Duty Black: Ops looks surprisingly good on the Wii. The game starts out in Cuba in the late 1960's, in a rather dense city street full of odd shops and buildings. Of course, you'll be more concerned with the police cars trying to run you over, but the attention to detail is there, and it...

Call Of Duty: Black Ops (Wii) - Review

Call Of Duty. These three simple words hold so much weight in the gaming world. Sales records are consistently broken when a new game bearing the name is released; businesses and schools report high absentee rates and gamers everywhere shout obscenities into tiny headsets.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

War, War never changes... Oops, wrong game!

Cinematic gameplay; Enjoyable online gameplay; Great story; Multiple controller options; ZOMBIES

Challenging; even on its easiest difficulty setting; Confusing interrogation segments; No Wii Speak support; Technical limitations; Troublesome online problems

Call Of Duty: Black Ops - PC, Xbox 360, PS3

That isn't a major criticism of Black Ops. It is what it is: a very solid shooter with an impressive game engine that offers bouts of exciting action, even though it doesn't bring anything new to the table, or allow you to deeply strategise your every move.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Activision has once again released another Call of Duty to the masses. This time Treyarch has the reins with an all new story and an all new location to defend. I have been playing the Xbox 360 version on my own, for fun, but I have also been playing the Wii version for the purposes of this review.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige Collector's Edition Totally Makes Me Want to be a Prestigious Collector

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige Collector's Edition has the usual stuff that one would associate with collector's editions of popular games – a book, a medal, etc. Stupid add-on junk that is destined to become clutter.
