Call of Duty: Black Ops review
The visual dazzle and cinematic set-pieces are let down by bad scripting, glitchy multiplayer and increasingly dull firefights.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
Although its seven titles have brought in over $3 billion in sales, Call of Duty: Black Ops has a lot to prove. After a tumultuous year, which resulted in one of the messiest breakups in gaming history, Treyarch had to prove that they were no longer the series B-team, and make people forget all...

[Review] Call of Duty: Black Ops
As another year passes Activision's flagship franchise has it's unsurprising new entry born into the world. This year it is Treyarch's turn to not only prove that they can match Infinity Ward's best, but also display a quality that cements their place in charge of the franchise for the foreseeable...

PC - Call of Duty: Black Ops- By Activision Inc
Overpriced and too short in single player mode. Don't play online so can't judge multiplayer. Also don't care for need to load and use via Stream connection.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Review (PC)
Treyarch and Activision did release a patch within a couple days to fix a lot of the lag/CPU usage issues, and overall the MP experience is a lot better with the stuttering reduced in most situations dramatically.

Call of Duty: Black Ops (PC) Review
"This blows," an online player tells me through the in-game chat as the game slowly grinds through a killcam, lag rendering the game nigh unplayable. I quickly type a message in agreement, and tell him it's not really worth the experience points.

Treyarch's got some big shoes to fill. They're no stranger to the franchise, but the pressure is on them now that they seem to be the primary developers of the series unless Activision somehow revives Infinity Ward with an infusion of talent.

Call of Duty: Black Ops, Simply a disappointment
First Thoughts When I first got this game I was very impressed, installation was easy and it runs well on my PC. I did however not like the fact it's a steam game, most games you buy can be bought in steam or just on disk, Black Ops is on disk but has to be connected to steam making the game...
Pros:
- Great Storyline
- Good general Gameplay
Cons:
- Servers are buggy
- Small Maps
- No new gametypes

Call of Duty: Black Ops review
Treyarch's ambitious attempt to move the Xbox 360 community towards a new shooter may have paid off. Black Ops is a competent game that comes packed with compelling multiplayer modes and additional content.
Pros:
- Extensive online multiplayer modes, stacks of content for the price of admission
- New multiplayer maps and a healthy online community ready to do battle
- No noticeable framerate issues, and 3D is supported if you have the hardware
Cons:
- It's let down by the rubbish campaign

Answers the Call
Call of Duty has delivered again. They have produced another polished hollywood style, action shooter, and still lead the field. As a game its fun, graphics are top notch, weapons and sound great and the story is your typical modern tale of terrorists etc.
