Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Review

Change is as good as a holiday, they say. And I hear the best place for a holiday in the 25s is the floating man-made island of Colossus with its thousands of rooms, dubstep-heavy nightclubs, fresh sea air and harboured terrorists.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

While this year marks the seventh anniversary of perhaps the most successful console in videogaming history, it also plays host to the eighth consecutive Call of Duty to appear on Microsoft's steadfast console.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Review

Gamers have a love/hate relationship with AAA franchises that release annual installments; On one hand its great to see more of something you love, but as we've seen time and time again, fatigue can set in.

"A beautiful game."

Black Ops 2 have raised the bar in HD games. The guns, the setting and all the players are rendered beautifully and look amazing on a high definition TV. The gameplay is fast paced and a great game to play with friends. I found myself having more fun when I am playing with a few friends on my team.

Jetpacks with rigid wings. Gloves that can adhere to any surface and support your body weight. Advertisements that feature your face when you walk by. The campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops II has some interesting ideas about the future of technology, but what about the future of this massively...

Great campaign scripting; Story choices are often tough and encourage replay; League play offers a new stage for the familiar multiplayer combat

Zombies mode is stagnant; New codcasting tool is hamstrung

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising DLC Review

Of all the recent Call of Duty releases, Activision and Treyarch's Black Ops II left me the most conflicted. Prior to its release, I had, without a moment's hesitation, gobbled up every single map pack and piece of downloadable content for every Call of Duty release since Call of Duty 4: Modern...

For the first time in a while, the Call of Duty formula is actually changed up a bit with Black Ops II. The core gameplay is still the same as ever - snap to enemy, shoot, snap to enemy, shoot, etc.

My favourite call of duty game

My favourite call of duty game, the campaign is really intense which is brilliant. The multiplayer game mode is good as it is has a wide variety of game modes. You can use the disk on your Xbox one due to backwards compatibility which is useful if you want to go back and play old games even if you...

Call of Duty: Black Ops II: Uprising DLC Review

As a complete package, Uprising comes up trumps, as the mostly unexciting maps are balanced by the excellent Mob of the Dead mode. It amounts to the best Call of Duty DLC Treyarch have ever delivered, and once again highlights their ability to take the tried and tested formulas and spin them in new...
