In the spectrum of computer games, I have come to relate the genres to alcohol. A fine high-strategy game in my mind is a full-bodied wine. To be enjoyed and savoured to the fullest at all of it's levels.

What looks like Medal of Honor: Allied Assault plays like Medal of Honor: Allied Assault but in fact isn't Medal of Honor: Allied Assault? :) Well, I will tell you. It's Call of Duty!

World War II is certainly a popular setting for first-person shooters. If you're not shooting at terrorists on your PC these days, odds are you're shooting at Nazis. I've played just about all of these WWII shooters, and they've run the gamut from abysmal to some of my favorite games.

Non-stop top quality action make this a FPS to remember. It may be short on length but the quality of both the single and multiplayer components more than make up for it.

Some people are mad about role playing games, while others find themselves drawn to survival horror games. I've never been a fan of either but I am a longtime fan of first person shooters. FPSs have come a long way in their history, possibly more than any other genre.
