PlayStation 4 Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War 88490AU review

Not a standout year for Call Of Duty, as while the campaign offers some fun action and minor innovation Zombies and multiplayer are beginning to feel very tired.

Excellent gunplay and the story campaign has some great arcade style moments, as well surprisingly open-ended gameplay choices; Multiplayer is as enjoyable as ever.

Zombies just isn’t any fun outside of Onslaught, and there’s only one map at launch; Dirty Bomb doesn’t really work, which leaves the multiplayer short of new ideas; Campaign story lacks teeth.

PlayStation 4 Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War 88490AU review

After seeing the Cold War the hardcore fans will keep their preferences aiming towards the episodes developed by Infinity Ward. Although a fair effort, the latest Black Ops struggles to come out from the shadow of last year’s Modern Warfare and fails.

The initial atmosphere of the campaign; Some memorable moments; Dirty bomb mode

Lots of technical issues in multiplayer; The graphic engine shows its age; Lack of content in zombies mode

PlayStation 4 Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War 88490AU review

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War PS4 Review . Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War arrives at the start of a brand new console generation. That would be all fine and easy if the game had only been released on consoles for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.

PlayStation 4 Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War 88490AU review

A direct sequel to the original, fan-favorite Black Ops, and set in the early 1980s, Black Ops Cold War, drops players into the depth of the Cold War’s volatile geopolitical universe in a gripping experience where nothing is as it seems.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War review

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a return to typical Treyarch form with a promising Zombies mode and old-school multiplayer outing, backed up by excellent visuals that make full use of the next-gen consoles. Especially with the handy immersion of the PS5's DualSense, this year's Call of Duty is well worth grabbing to flesh out your next-gen games collection. Just watch out for the mediocre campaign and some performance issues.

Visuals take full advantage of next-gen power; Addictive and immersive gunplay; Old-school execution of Multiplayer and Zombies is fantastic; ;

A cack-handed campaign that retreads old ground; A few performance issues around launch that will likely be ironed out

Cold War was a Blast!

Great game, I find it easier than WW2 to progress through the various weapons etc. It' doesn't take too long to get to some decent firepower. Great maps.

Call of duty Black Ops Cold War

Good and fun game. Definitely recommend playing. There’s a great selection of modes and maps and it’s really fun to play. Definitely worth the money to buy the game. Nothing bad about this game except every now and then an error can happen sometimes which can be annoying.
