Crippled Beauty
Like many fragrances that were launched in the 1980s, Lou Lou is one outsized perfume. However, while Giorgio, Poison and Coco conjure up images of Supermodel Glamazons and big-haired women in power suits, Lou Lou is better suited to the kind of crop-haired gamine you'd see in New Wave music videos...

Cacharel Loulou : Perfume Review (Now and Then)
Revisiting Loulou some years later after I had already worn gardenias tucked in my hair as someone tried to kiss my neck and having smelled pungent Indian incense, other pieces of the puzzle fell in place.

Remember Forever
Lou Lou, OMG... Always keep my eyes open for this. With its unique packaging, its easily noticed at any perfumery. Very hard to find, but one of the best scents ever. I like the cream, it stays with me well. Introduced to me years ago...please bring it back so it's not so hard to find!

Lovely scent, great price
Very warm, full and noticeable, without becoming overwhelming. Powdery vanilla incense - if you're into this kind of scent, it's amazing. I love it! Haven't found it at a cheaper price anywhere.

Old favourite that never disappoints!
I have been using Loulou for more years than I care to remember! I do tend to keep my more expensive perfumes for best, but am always happy to use Loulou for every day. Many perfumes fade on my skin within a short time but Loulou has excellent longevity.

LouLou is said to have been inspired by the famous silent movie star, Louise Brooks – which perplexes me because unlike Arpège (another ‘purple' perfume), LouLou does not evoke that era at all.

Awful, truly awful.
So, I actually picked this up in the charity shop a few months ago for only a few pounds. The bottle was completely full and the box actually sealed so I didn't get to test it. I thought: it's cheap, I have used other cacharel scents which I like and it's for charity so why not? Why not indeed...
